The Festival format comprises some 16 teams who usually each bring 6 to 8 players. Teams are divided into 3 groups.
Groups A and B play for the Festival Shield, starting with a round robin. The two leading teams in each group proceed to Finals Day on Sunday.
Group C players are normally 40+, but still competitive. The two leading teams in Group C also proceed to Finals Day.
The success of the Festival owes much every year to the Social Programme, with welcome drinks, two parties and the Gala Dinner.
